The new courses of Polish language for foreigners on the University of Zielona Góra!
About Us
Polish language course for foreigners at the University of Zielona Góra was established at the Faculty of Humanities at the Institute of Polish Philology in 2012 with the inspiration of prof. zw. dr hab. Stanisław Borawski, who for many years keeps it in trust. From the beginning it is under the patronage of the Vice-Rector for Education Quality prof. zw. dr hab. inż. Magdalena Graczyk.
As it exists now, the Polish language course for foreigners was created in 2012, over the next 500 students attended classes on all levels in the following years. They were mainly Spanish, French, English, Irish, Scots, Germans, Russians, Ukrainians, Belarussians, Lithuanians, Bulgarians, Romanians, Italians, Macedonians, Greeks, Japanese, Vietnamese, Turks, and Pakistanis. Among those who attended the course there were students directly connected with the university: UZ (1st, 2nd and 3rd degree) students, students of the Erasmus and Erasmus+ programs and UZ employees.
Since 2017, due to the great interest in learning Polish language of people unrelated to the University, have had a possibility to participate in the course on a fee basis. Classes may be continuous, by semester or intensive, i.e. accelerated.
